Yes, you are welcome to bring one adult guest with you to your scan. Please only bring someone who is a member of your household or your support bubble unless government guidelines advise otherwise.
Sadly, it’s not safe to bring children at the moment. The scan room is rather cosy and it’s hard to maintain a 2m social distance with more than three people in the room—especially with children.
Please only bring a guest who is a member of your household or support bubble. Depending on your circumstances, government guidelines may allow you to attend with somebody outside of your support bubble, but please speak to us first.
Surfaces are cleaned thoroughly after every scan. Your sonographer will wear a face mask and gloves and replace them after every scan. For your part, please wear a face covering at all times, gel or wash your hands on arrival, and maintain a 2m social distance whenever possible.
If you have any Coronavirus symptoms (high temperature, new continuous cough, or loss/change to your sense of smell or taste), then please do NOT attend your scan appointment. Instead, please follow the government self-isolation guidelines. And send me an email to re-arrange or cancel your scan for a full refund.
